Hey everyone! I hope you all are doing well as we are still dealing with this COVID-19 nonsense. I know most of us are under state mandated face masks when in public so things are a bit tense for some so I figured a post about something ridiculous would be quite appropriate.
We all know her from Toddlers and Tiaras with her obnoxious mother, and well her overly annoying self. We watched them break our television sets with Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and watched good ole Mama June drop down to a supposedly size FOUR when there was no way in hell that that was true on Mama June: From Hot to Not. Then, we watched it all unfold as Mama June and her disgustingly trashy boyfriend, Geno fight their drug addiction and tear up the family on Mama June: Family Crisis. Thank you WE! for this very guilty pleasure show that is such a train wreck that we just can't stop watching. Now, miss thang herself is coming out with her own subscription beauty box that we all can get y'all. For $99.95 we can look like Honey Boo Boo ourselves.

Now I don't know about you, but the last time I ever recall Alanna (Honey Boo Boo's real name) actually really wearing makeup or even remotely doing something with herself was back in her Toddlers & Tiaras days. Not to mention that the girl is only about fourteen so I feel like she doesn't really know a whole lot about the beauty industry to really put together a box.
Curious, I signed up to get information when it became available and I'm glad that I did because wow. Besides having that huge price tag on it for something that is hers, I just couldn't imagine what she was going to have in this box. And she even claimed it was going to have "huge" brands and her favorites. After getting to see everything that is in this box, I am nowhere near impressed and would not get this box. Don't let me decide for you and let's take a look inside of this box and the individual prices of each since the box is supposed to be over $200 in value. Cue the eye roll again.

1. Beauty by Boo Boo Makeup Brush Set-So this is obviously something is exclusive with this box so it's not available elsewhere at the moment. There is literally no information about it online. Looks to me like it would come with about 5-6 eyeshadow brushes.
2.Medusa's Mascara $10-12-Medusa actually has their own type of beauty subscription boxes that you can do as well. But with Beauty by Boo Boo, subscribers receive a mini Witch Lash. If the box actually puts the full size item in the box, then it retails at $12 but I highly doubt it's the full size. Based on the image of the item here and the mascara on Medusa's website, y'all that subscribe are getting the short stick.
Medusa Liquid Eye Shadow $13-Alright, item number three is also from Medusa's Makeup. Pictured was the shade "Audrey" and little is known if every subscriber is getting that shade or if there are other options. Personally, I'd just go to medusasmakeup.com and just order the shade I wanted from there because I'm still not seeing anything worth paying that subscription price.
KAB Cosmetics Highlighter Palette $30-KAB Cosmetics is absolutely the only exciting thing I find about this box because it's the cosmetics brand from Kim Zolciak Biermann from "Real Housewives of Atlanta" and "Don't be Tardy" and I absolutely love her. The shade that subscribers look to be getting is the Buttercream Glowmeup.
Bang Beauty Eyeliner $20-This Felt Tip Precise Eyeliner from Bang Beauty is waterproof, glides on easy, and doesn't run. Personally, I am not a fan of liquid eyeliners and prefer gel so another reason that this is a pass for me.
KAB Cosmetics Lip Gloss $18-The shade that seems to be what is include is called "Glazed Lipgloss." It's got that pinkish nude tint that is honestly one of my go-to shades but I'd rather just buy it straight from KAB and give my money to Kimi than support Honey Boo Boo.
Celavi Face Masks-So the pricing is hard to find on this one because they are sold in MULTI packs and it's a Korea Skin Care product. There are two Honey masks that are different types.
Same as above but only a total of TWO sheet masks. They're just counting each sheet mask as one.
Lapcos Eye Mask $4-This product can actually be purchased in a 10-pack on sites such as Amazon. There are so many eye masks out there that are very pricey and I'm guilty for having them in my beauty drawers as we speak but this is not worth the $99.95. I'd expect something more pricey than a total of 3 cheap masks for somewhere on your face. Like no.
Bewaltz Cosmetics Bag $13-I will admit box. that this is a gorgeous bag. It is the Holographic makeup pouch in rose gold. Personally, I would just much rather order the bag from the website as it's the same price for a large bag or a small bag and you don't really know which size you're getting in the box.
Urban Hydration Detangling Spray $4.99-This is actually the mini size that is included in the box given the look of the bottle meaning it's probably going to get about as many uses out of it as you do from the sprays from Ipsy for $12/month.
Lily & Fox Nail Wraps$2.99-These nail wraps are normally set at $9.99 however they are all on sale for $2.99. I've heard that they are usually always on sale or have some good deals going. Subscribers will get 1 of 6 styles in their box. Personally, I'll pay the $3 and buy one from the website.
Matrboomie Gold Necklace $44-If you ask me, this necklace does not fit in with this box or with Alanna at all. It's gorgeous though as it's inspired by the windows and arches of Indian architecture. See why I say it doesn't really fit?
Beauty by Boo Boo Mini Flat Iron-There is nothing online about this item as it's exclusive for this subscription box only right now. Does the girl even straighten her hair or tame her wild ass hair?
Beauty by Boo Boo Detangling Brush-This is also an subscription box exclusive. It looks tiny so no thanks.
Crazy Aaron's Thinking Putty $3-This is a mini jar of thinking putty in Sunbeam. This is normally for CHILDREN and is not beauty related. Of course her hyperactive self would include this in a beauty box. It is known to help with anxiety but come the fuck on now. If I paid $99.95 for a BEAUTY box and received this, I'd be PISSED beyond words.
So there you all have it. Every item in Alana's $99.95 "beauty" box that will help you bring out the "Boo Boo" in you. I know that I will be passing on this not-so-great deal and will NOT be giving my money to this family.
