Subscription Box Review #1: Allure Box

There are so many different types of subscription boxes out there nowadays that it is kind of ridiculous. You can seriously just about find a box for just about about anything. I mean, Amber Rose has her subscription box called 'Slut Box.' It is basically exactly what you would think it would be. Am I going to subscribe to that box? Yes, I just might? Lol. But there are boxes for candy, comics, makeup (obviously since this is basically what my blog is about), organic food, fresh food meals, and even fake eyelashes, which if I could figure out how to put them accurately myself, I would subscribe to that.

But the box that I am going to discuss now is the Allure Beauty Box. This was probably one of my favorite subscriptions because instead of trial sizes, you actually get full sizes as well. I love getting full size products over trial sizes because then you actually get to try the product fully.

So what exactly do you get with the Allure Beauty Box and how much is it? Well, let me tell you!

Your first month is only $10 and you usually get a free gift when you first subscribe and you can always see what is going to be coming in your box that month. After your first month, the monthly rate is just $15/month. You're getting 5 full size products. That's a hell of a deal if you ask me. The Beauty Box usually will value between $50-90 and shipping will always be free.

Now, some of my favorite products from the Allure Beauty Boxes that I have gotten in the past are listed below:

  • Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil, Price $105, Sephora

    • I absolutely LOVE this stuff! It's a retinol face oil that was not irritating at all. I actually found it to be extremely moisturizing and has some type of herbal smell to it that I really can't place. The con to it though, if you're pregnant, you cannot use it because of the retinol.

  • Ouai Haircare Leave-In Conditioner, $26, Theouai.com

    • This stuff works really well and let me just say that I love anything Ouai! Their hair products are always 100. The leave-in conditioner has a bit of a floral smell, has some good frizz protection for those that have frizzy hair like I do when the humidity is crazy, and the smell lingers!!

  • Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, $20, Sephora.com

    • I do not care about the price about this product! This product is my absolute favorite! When I first used it, I thought "What the hell is a lip sleeping mask?" I mean, it's an overnight lip treatment. It smells amazing and gives the lip this glimmering little pink tint. One thing I love about this sleeping mask is that it also plumps the lips. When I first used this, I noticed it immediately. I thought I was having an allergic reaction but I wasn't. And it's not as heavy as some lip balms can be where they just leave your lips feeling blah. The sleeping mask contains shea butter as well. And just so you all know, I wear this product all of the time, even over lipsticks.

At the end of the day, I highly recommend Allure Beauty Box because as I stated before, it's full-size products for only $15/month. ($10 your first month). You can cancel the subscription at anytime as well so you don't have to worry about any longtime commitment.
